Argumentative Essay
Breathalyzers Should be required in all cars
Did you know that there were 221,711 car accidents in Korea? This was in 2011, and 28,461 of the car accidents were caused by drunk driving. That's nearly 12.8% ! This is why breathalyzers should be required in all cars. Breathalyzers are a device for estimating the amount of alcohol in breath. If you put these breathalyzers in cars, the car will not start if you blow on it and you are drunk. However, your car would start if you blow on it and you're not drunk. Breathalyzers can decrease the amount of car accidents, breathalyzers are cheap these days and breathalyzers can prevent you from frauds.
First, breathalyzers can decrease the amount of car accidents. Did you know France is the
first country to require all drivers to carry handheld breathalyzers in all vehicles? This law extends to tourists as well. The law went into effect on July 1st and was approved in March 2011. According to "Dailytech.com" which was written by Shane McGlaun on 2012, July 2nd, France has about 4000 road deaths per year these days. However, before the law, there was an average amount of 16,000 road deaths annually. 75% has decreased, which is a huge amount. In summary, breathalyzers can decrease the number of car accidents so breathalyzers should be equipped in all cars.
Second, breathalyzers are cheap these days. According to breathalyzer.com, the cheapest ones you can use forever is $97. The most expensive was$300, but it is not always necessary to buy the expensive ones. It's pretty cheap for something you can use permanently. In conclusion, breathalyzers are cheap these days so breathalyzers should be required in all cars.
Finally, breathalyzers can prevent you from frauds. If you have breathalyzers in your car and your car wouldn't start if you drink, you will probably stop drunk driving. However, without breathalyzers, the people who are drunk driving will increase. The people who are drunk are usually not normal so anyone could trick or fool them easily. According to a news article, there were people who were drunk and they got fooled easily. They lost a lot of money but couldn't report it to the police because they were drunk driving and could loose their license. In brief, breathalyzers should be required in all cars because they can prevent you from frauds.
The opposing side might say that some of the breathalyzers that are permanent are too expensive. However, your life is much more important than money. Without life, money would not be needed. Life is much more vital than money.
Also, the opposing side might argue that breathalyzers might not work because there was an article in 2011 about cars not moving even though the person who drank tried to drive after a while. However, technology has developed so nothing like that will happen again.
In conclusion, breathalyzers decrease the number of car accidents, they are cheap and they can prevent you from frauds so breathalyzers should be required in all cars. Also, even though the opposing side might say that breathalyzers are too expensive and they are not trustworthy, your life is of prime importance and technology has developed. This is why Breathalyzers should definitely be required in all cars.

Short Story- Drabble
Drabble- Midnight Feast
My friend and I
sat on the bed where the moon shone on the bedcovers. It was midnight. Our
hearts pounding like drums, we slowly opened the door. Like a cat, we walked
slowly down the stairs into the kitchen.
“Darn it”
my friend muttered, as she stepped on a squeaky stair,
We snuck into
the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. We felt our tummies rumble as we saw
the refrigerator filled with delicious food. After we finished filling our
pockets with food, we tried to sneak out, when there was a flash of light! It
was mom and dad.

Response Essay on the Movie "Brave"
Writing- Response Essay
While watching the movie "Brave", I noted many similarities and differences between Merida's parents and my parents. The similarity was that they both want their child to be perfect all the time. My mom usually scolds me because she wants me to improve ans wants me to be brilliant at everything. My mom, like Merida's mom wants me to listen to her all the time. However, like Merida's dad, my dad listens to my thoughts carefully and respects my ideas. The difference is that Merida's mother wants Merida to follow her footsteps but my mother wants me to do succeed more than her. Me and Merida have some differences and similarities too. Merida was brave enough to follow the wisps and she was brave enough to change her mother. If I was her, I'd never do that because I haven't got the courage. Also the similarity is that I've been thinking about wanting to change mt fate too.
In conclusion, I compared and contrast between Merida's parents and my parents and me and Merida, I believe that parents should listen carefully to their children and I learnt lessons from the movie "Brave"
The Movie "Brave" is a fantasy movie about the main character Merida, trying to change her fate. Merida is a princess who is adventurous and loves archery. She is forced to marry a person she doesn't even know and try to change her fate by putting a spell on her mother. Merida's mother loves her daughter and wants Merida to follow her footsteps. When Merida has a huge argument with her mother
about the marrige, Merida goes into the forest on her own and follows the wisps, which are magical things that leads you to your fate. Merida followed the wisps and found a witch's house. She asked for a spell that would change her mother and she found out that the spell turned her mother into a bear. The story continues on with Merida finally finding a solution to her problem. The story ends in a happy ending~ In this response essay, I would write about the lessons I learnt, will write about parents should listen more carefully to children and I will compare and contrast between my parents and Merida's parents and Merida and me.
After watching this movie I learnt a few lessons. I learnt that parents are always important and they are always going to love you no matter what.I think I would recommend this movie to children who quarrel a lot with their parents. If they watch it together, I'm sure that their relationship will be much better. Also I learnt that I cannot live without my mom. Never! I realized I should always be a good daughter and even though my mother scolds me , always think that she is doing it to help me.
In the movie Merida's mom did not listen to her daughter carefully. That is the reason why the conflict between them happened between Merida and Merida's mother. I strongly believe that parents should listen to their child's opinion and accept them and respect them. Most of the adults might feel insulted if a child is correcting them because they are older. However children's imagination is actually more creative so they could think of better ideas. If Merida's mother had respected and accepted Merida's thoughts and opinions about the marriage maybe the argument between them wouldn't have happened. The video below explains more about adults should listen more to children.

My Ode on Hot Packs....
My Dearest Hot Pack
In Winter time you're so useful and we all love you.
You are very comforting because you're so warm.
Oh how I feel wonderful when you are with me.
Oh my hot pack, my hot pack you are like my best friend!
You are a best friend who I can carry around anywhere,
You are a best friend who I can always rely on when it is cold
You make my pocket hot, which keeps my hands warm.
I thank you, I praise you for all you've done to me.
Oh hot pack, you're all different sizes!
Some of you are big, some of you are small and some of you guys are mini.
Some of you mini ones, you are so cute.
Some of you small ones fit exactly in my pocket!
Some of you big ones keep me the warmest.
Therefore, I thank you the biggest one of them all.
Oh hot pack, my amazing and fantastic hot pack, I cannot live without you.
You are so kindhearted and oh how freezing would it be without you.
I will miss you in summer time,
And I'd like to thank you for all you've done to me...
Love,

My Goals
Hello~ This is Ji Won!
During my GLPS camp, I have chosen three goals I want to achieve during the next month
My first goal is to read books during leisure time. I have noticed that during my leisure time I usually check messages on my phone or talk with my room mates. I realized that I was wasting my time. So I decided to read books during that leisure time. The first step I need to do, to read books during the leisure time, I must finish my work and homework quickly so I can actually get leisure time. The second thing I need to do is to resist from talking to friendsand checking messages on my phone. Finally, I need to concentrate on reading.
My second goal is to never leave food and eat everything I choose to eat. During the week I have spended my time at GLPS, I thought that I leave too much of little bits of food every day. I resolved to myself that I should now not leave food. The first thing I need to do is to choose the right amount of food I want to eat. Secondly, I need to try and eat new things and get used to the food at GLPS. Finally, I need to think about the people who are starving and the efforts the women put to make this food and eat the food.
My last goal is to try and never get yellow or red card and EOP. I really wanted to be a good kid in GLPS so I really don't want to get any of these. The first thing I need to do is to always trymy hardest and best to be a be good kid. The second thing need to do is to always speak English unless it is really necessary. Finally, I should always be nice and try to be on time.
These were my goals I want to achieve while I am at GLPS and Thank You~ <3
